Rocky Flats devoid OSHA laws

Redacted FBI report summarizing the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) as it applies to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) facilities. The FBI redacted the interviewee name and date of the report.

The 1970 OSHA law, P. Law 91-596, exempted employees at all Atomic Energy Commission facilities. In 1972 DOE and the U.S. Department of Labor entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU); DOE continued to assert OSHA exemption, OSHA inspections would be administered by DOE under DOE Order 5483.1A.
