Jon Lipsky threatened with Contempt of Congress over Rocky Flats

On September 9, 1992 Congressman Howard Wolpe, Chairman, Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight for the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology sent a warning letter to Jon Lipsky regarding possible prosecution for Contempt of Congress regarding the Prosecution of the Rocky Flats Site. Congressman Wolpe reminded Mr. Lipsky that “you are the subpoenaed witness, not the FBI Director [William S. Sessions] nor the Attorney General [William P. Barr].”

On August 24, 1992 the U.S. Marshal’s Service served a Congressional subpoena on Mr. Lipsky to testify before the Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee on Science, Space and Technology on September 10, 1992.
