Rocky Flats Document Destruction Moratorium 1996

On April 25, 1996 Jessie Roberson on behalf of Mark N. Silverman, Rocky Flats Field Office Manager at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site (RFLETS) issued a memorandum. The memo begins “Effective immediately, I am issuing a moratorium on the destruction of all records at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site, including the records located at the Denver Federal Record Center. Until further notice, no destruction will take place of any records unless approved by the RFFO Chief Counsel.
